State and main - Whitby

We loved it absolutely. A great experience, food and service at this point. We went on Valentine's Day and their 4-course meal was both satisfying and good price. I got the shrimp pasta and my wife got the steak. The steak was a nice medium rare and the peach cocktail could feed two. I would definitely return.

The service was exceptional!! The server was good natured and happy she made everything look easy and made us feel right at home. The food was fantastic! From the portion size to the flavour, everything was spot on. We had ne er been to this place before, but after a wonderful first experience, we will definitely be back.

Our waitress was incredibly nice and helpful. The Brezel bites are so incredibly good! We had the steak and it was perfectly cooked. I have broccoli instead of asparagus. It was so good. Very recommended. Really nice atmosphere.

Delicious! This is one of our favorite restaurants in Whitby. Hopefully we can visit them soon when the restrictions lift.

I got the Tuna Poke Bowl for lunch—paid over $18 and it was the WORST poke bowl ever. Lacked flavour, barely any fish, barely any vegetables—I had to add my own homemade sauce and canned tuna to make it more flavourful and filling. DO NOT GET THIS unless you want to waste money
