Pizzeria Antico - Whistler

Ordered 2 pizzas, Diavola & one that had eggplant. It was quite late, but there were a few people around one table. Waitress took our order & said it would be ready in 5min, which should have rung alarm bells. Didn't mention they were closing so we waited & took our pizzas back to our room. Both were identical with a bit of sauce & 5 pieces of cheese (didn't look like mozzarella). No meat, salami, eggplant or anything else. Basic, bland pizzas. It could have been because perhaps they were closing but it would have been better if they had turned us away. Maybe,they thought we were tourists & it didn't matter. We left early next day or we definitely would have complained. Was surprised when I saw photos of their pizzas on their site, ours looked nothing like that.

The food here is good, but whoever curates the beer list is amazing. The sheer effort put in to getting such an outstanding variety is superb, one of the best spots to enjoy craft beers!

Ordered a Classic Magherita with spicy cappacola. To die for...lovethe wood fire pizza. Wait staff there Fabulous! On top of it, friendly and ready to please! Kinda hard to find...if your looking at the UPS store go to the right ~ wooohooo...YOU will not be disappointed. Again went for lunch...but understand the Dinner menu is wonderful...CAN'T WAIT

The pizza was terrific. The salad came out after the pizza. Our friends' pizzas came out and was consumed before ours came out. That's one thing. The surprise on our server's face that our pizza didn't come out correctly the first time or in a timely manner the second time represents the situation. She was inattentive and unaware. Maybe overworked. Maybe they're short staffed - still, the attention to us could have made up for it by miles. We didn't take the lack of a hostess as a clue to the possible problem. Would not return. We arrived at 7:30 on a Sunday night - finally able to leave about 9:20.

This restaurant is a short walk away from the village with a menu of deliciousness. The pizza was cooked perfectly the sauce was so good, the salad was so fresh and the pasta was full of flavor and they don't cheap out on ingredients. This restaurant made us feel like we were back in italy. I suggest that everyone who likes real Italian food to come here and eat
