Bidra med feedbackThe breakfast buffet at this restaurant was fantastic. As Marriott Platinum Elite members, they were complimentary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westin and especially enjoyed dining at the restaurant.
My visit to The Westin in Whistler was exceptional. The staff and property were outstanding. The breakfast, particularly the eggs Benedict, was excellent. I usually go out for dinner, but this time I decided to dine at Grain and Vine so I could focus on work. It was fantastic! The beef carpaccio and albacore wrapped in Pancetta were top-notch. They also had a beautiful selection of wines. Once again, the employees were excellent. I will definitely be dining here on my next trip to Whistler.
The restaurant manager Annie was incredibly unprofessional and rude during our visit. Despite having made a reservation three months in advance, we were seated at a high table even though the restaurant was only half full. I would not choose to dine at this establishment again.
I was in Whistler for UBCM. One morning the group of us from my community had planned a ministerial meeting at the Westin Hotel. After the meeting it was suggested that we all go to the Grill Vine (in the hotel) for breakfast.... We did. I ordered scrambled eggs, sausage and sourdough toast. I don't remember much, so it wasn't spectacular. I know, however, that it filled me. The decor reminded me of a 70s bus depot for some reason. If they're trying to meet a retro vibe, they nailed it. Would I come back? Sure. Thank you.
Nice restaurant, good service but always suspicious when the least expensive wine on the wine list is not in stock. I understand that it could be out of stock but that should be noted. We refused to order the next available bottle $20 more)...and simply chose glasses instead. However no complaints about the food and all in all we enjoyed our evening.
