Fix Cafe - Whistler

We were so excited to visit Nita Lake Lodge. The restaurant looked like a special and elegant place, like the hotel. From the moment we went to the hotel, the service was abhorrent. We had a 6:30 dinner reservation and there was a line... on the Hostess stand, which was 20 minutes long, we asked a hotel staff when there was another line for those who had reservations and he rudely replied that we need to wait like all those who did not have a big start. Second edition my younger daughter saw the table next to us had a flat bread, but did not see one on the menu of waiters said that it was on the bar menu we asked if we could also order one, he said absolutely no exceptions. Thirdly, our waiter was uninterested in our experience that he probably came at our table 4 times in 2 hours, we had to get another server down to order dinner, order a second bottle of wine and even bring our check. The food was delicious, but the experience was terrible really disappointing several employees were rude and not helpful. For a higher culinary experience I would recommend to any other Whistler restaurants, the service was a real anomaly in what we saw from the other really friendly and welcoming restaurants and hotels in Whistler.

We were a few blocks away and had a nice walk to the lodge. The lodge was decorated for the season and very cozy. The den had great drinks and a stylish dinner choice. The steak and the lamb were perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and... attentive. We went back during the day to see the frozen shortage and had cocktails in the lobby area. Very beautiful, rustic look.

Had a really good cappuccino and eggs Benedict and everything we really delicious. A view of the lake with the first snowfall was beautiful

We choose Aura for Brunch before we leave Whistler. The atmosphere is simply amazing, you have a stunning view of the lake and the mountains. The food was great except the French toast who was good, but just ok, nothing extraordinary. Service is also good!

We love the Aura breakfast—always fresh and with a variety of choices. The coffee is delicious and the staff are attentive, friendly and informative.
