Glassworks Grill - Wheeling

This restaurant in the park is a great place to eat. The menu is quite small but the food is decent. The chips and dip were the standout dish in terms of value for money. The soft pretzels were tasty, the diving was average, and the fish and chips were good. I had a sandwich here before that was excellent, so I think I'll stick to ordering sandwiches in the future.

I tried this place twice. We didn't have enough time to go to town to find something better. The first time was lunch last Thursday. Daughter and I shared a Margarita pizza and hubby got wings. Eating was okay. It's nothing you can do about. My legal father had to go to the bar to pick up all our drinks. I don't think the server brought us one of them. Saturday for lunch we went with more family. I have a pasta with Pesto. It was okay. There were a variety of food on the table. The food was from everyone. But again my legal father had to pick up our drinks at the bar. Server brought a few. We were limited to our beer selection because it wasn't cold... in a bar! Not impressed. I'm not back.

The restaurant was a little expensive, but the service from our server was fantastic. I really enjoyed my steak, although I was unsure about the sweet potato stew. My steak was served on top of sliced carrots, onions, and spiralized zucchini - was that the stew? I didn't actually see any sweet potato in the dish.

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening after a bad experience at the restaurant next door. Rodney, the bartender, was friendly and provided excellent service (5 stars for him). The other bartender seemed disinterested and made us feel like we were bothering her. We enjoyed the cheese dip appetizer with pretzels, as well as the Burger and Rueben sandwich for dinner, which were both tasty. The prices were a bit high for the quality of the food, but we understand that we are in a resort setting.

Had possibly the best burger of my life here . Also had a crab cake sandwich which was also delicious. Our server was sweet and helpful .
