Bidra med feedbackExcellent Thai with fast service. Noodles, rice and curry are fantastic. Flavors are full and rich. Eat or take off. My favs are the Pad Woon Sen and Massaman Curry. Thai coffee also loves. The food is served hot and made from fresh ingredients.
Hidden around the corner on the main street Wheaton, May Thai Cafe serves great food in a simple atmosphere. We ordered Pad Kee Mao and Curry roasted rice per Ben's Mastro this restaurant) proposal. The spice level was at the point as we enjoy spicy dishes. There are few Thai restaurants in Wheaton, but the simplicity and customer service of Ben together with delicious food makes this place unique. At the time of arrival, this tiny self-service restaurant was filled with regular guests. This is definitely a culinary jewel to which I will return.
I could have easily given this place a 5-star rating but the guy at the desk was either having a bad day, didn't like me or he just hated his job and didn't make it a very pleasant experience but the food is awesome.
This place is fantastic. We have ordered a few times now and get something different every time, and we’ve loved everything. Highly recommend the pumpkin curry
I was pleasantly surprised to discover this place! After moving to Wheaton, I was searching for a good Thai restaurant near downtown and was almost ready to give up until I found May Thai Cafe. I ordered the pad thai with chicken at a mild spice level. The portion size was very generous for the price, and everything tasted fresh. The mild spice level was just right for me, as I'm quite sensitive to spicy food—there was flavor without overwhelming heat. I'm excited to enjoy the leftovers for lunch tomorrow!
