Juniors Smokehouse - Wharton

We have visited this restaurant before and found their cured meats and sandwiches to be excellent. However, we recently stopped by and despite Google Maps indicating that they were open, the restaurant was actually closed.

There have been some recent changes at this restaurant. During my last two visits, I noticed a significant difference. The once plentiful array of jerky options is now scarce. The staff, although friendly, seems to be operating on a skeleton crew. Many of the shelves are bare, with only a few drinks in the half-full coolers and a small selection of jerky flavors at the counter. It appears that they may be either relocating or slowly approaching closure. It's disappointing to see them struggle after enjoying their offerings for so long.
