Gloucester - Weymouth and Portland

My family and I dined at this restaurant on a bustling Saturday evening. My husband and I both ordered the BBQ pork belly ribs, which were served alongside crispy chips and crunchy coleslaw. The pork was tender and flavorful, and all of our meals arrived at the same time, which was impressive considering the size of our group. The service was good, and I would definitely recommend returning to this restaurant the next time we are in Weymouth.

We had a fantastic meal that was both delicious and affordable. The service was excellent as well. We were only in the area for one night, but we were glad that we decided to dine at this restaurant.

Didn't enjoy the carvery. I don't have veg so asked for an extra Yorkshire pudding,he very reluctantly agreed but made it clear that I shouldn't have two,made me feel bad for asking but it cost me ,I really didn't understand why especially as some...people don't have any Yorkshire puds. Yorkshire puds must be one of the cheapest items on the plate anyway. The meat was nice and the Yorkshire puds were nice but the potatoes looked undercooked and they were quite hard so I didn't eat them. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend going for their carvery

This seaside restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and the staff are friendly and attentive. The menu offers a variety of options at reasonable prices. In addition to their general menu, they also offer specials throughout the week. I recently tried the pork belly with roasted new potatoes and tenderstem broccoli in a cider jus and it was absolutely delicious. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Back to The Gloucester for a meal this Weymouth visit. It's now our firm favourite. We each had a half rotisserie chicken. Ample and moist, superb. Back next visit.
