Mcdonnells - Wexford

Ordered 12 x Chicken and chips for a get-together. Great service and the food was lovely. Staff very helpful. Had a pint in the Merry Elf pub nearby while we waited.

The staff at this restaurant was very unfriendly. I left a tip and they didn't even thank me. The fish was mushy, overcooked, and fell apart easily.

This is a fantastic chip shop. I haven't had a battered sausage since I was a teenager in the 1970s, and it was amazing, as were the fish and chips. One of the best chip shops in Ireland, and the staff are very friendly.

Have been using this chipper on a fairly regular basis since it opened and have to say I would rate it highly. Always happy when I have to wait a while for my order as this means it will be freshly cooked. Place is spotless clean, Portions always very generous, properly cooked and well presented. Would highly recommend.
