Mary Barry's Restaurant - Wexford

The restaurant was suggested to us by a family from wexford. we arrive and the place was full we were told it would take half an hour for a table but the bar would keep us company. After just 10 minutes they gave us the table. All the food delicious. Abundant dishes and the 4 with drinks for 100 Euros are not many. I also thought I had a mistake on the receipt and asked for a tip to be added. This restaurant enters my TOP TEN.

Arrived to a nice welcome. Restaurant not too busy so got a table. Lovely warmly feel to the place and lovely old style decor. Huge choice on Menu. Enjoyed food and very reasonably priced for such large portions and nicely presented.

Booked up for 13 of the family for an evening meal. We know Mary Barry's from previous meals when we go to Ireland to see family. The food never fails to impress. I know we were all pleased with our meals, but nobody more than the two of us who had opted. for steak. I had prime strip loin steak and the other steak chosen was fillet. Both on a bed of champ, and accompanied by a choice of sauces, we both had mushroom sauce. I do enjoy a good steak, this steak was superb, as was the fillet. I can go on but simply put if you go there and enjoy steak, order it, you will enjoy everything on the menu but the steak.......

Food was absolutely Delicious and the staff sooo friendly and happy to be around. A family meal together, everyone left extremely happy and we look forward to coming back soon.

Been going to MB's for many years. All family occasions would be held here. Tbey have ramped up their prices in June 2023 absolutely way beyond extortionate. They should be ashamed of themselves, the food is good but not THAT good. Shame on you, Susie and Alec. Won't be back.
