My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant, and it was the worst dining experience we've had in all of Westport. When we arrived, the owner/manager was neither friendly nor unfriendly, just aloof and uninterested. Our food arrived quickly after ordering, but our bottle of wine was not opened at the table and was only brought to us after our food arrived. My Chicken Chow Mein tasted like it was made with a seasoning mix, and my husband's curry was bland with a thick, flavorless sauce.

My sister and I visited Jade Dragon Restaurant in Westport in March 2019. We arrived at 6:45pm, just in time for the early bird menu which ends at 7:30pm. Unfortunately, we had to wait in line behind people collecting their takeaway orders as the waitress was busy taking phone orders. Eventually, we were seated in the restaurant where three other couples were already dining. After 25 minutes, the waitress took the order of one of the couples but passed us by without taking our order. At 7:40pm, she finally came back to take our order, apologizing for the delay. We requested the early bird menu but were told it had ended at 7:30pm, despite our arrival time. Our food didn't arrive until 8:20pm, and my chicken curry was mediocre at best, more like a takeaway dish than restaurant quality. Another couple received the wrong order and had to have it replaced, while another couple sent back some cold pancakes. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and seemed like the restaurant focused more on their takeaway service than on the dine-in customers. I would not recommend this place and have no plans to return.

Located in the heart of Westport, this restaurant has a simple decor, average food, and service. Be aware that they use MSG in their dishes. However, the aromatic duck is delicious. In terms of pricing, it falls in the mid-range category. Suggestions to the owner would be to eliminate MSG from the menu. As for the chef, the same suggestion applies - eliminate MSG from the dishes.

The shredded duck is the best I have tasted in many years along with the hong kong ribs and even their fries were delicious. Great service and very reasobale prices....must visit

We had a Chinese here in November. This isn't a modern Chinese by any means, its quiet dated, but the food is amazing. We ordered starter, main and dessert and we couldn't not find one fault with it. The staff were so friendly and polite. We will definitely go back again.
