The Claret Jug - Weston

The staff at this hotel and golfing complex are top-notch. The golf course is a challenging and beautiful parkland course situated in a valley. The staff, including Julie and Courtney from the hotel bar, went above and beyond to ensure my birthday party in the private bar area was a success. The kitchen also provided delicious teas, coffees, sandwiches, and chips. Overall, a fantastic experience at Wychwood.

The breakfast buffet at this restaurant was consistently excellent over the course of three nights. There were plenty of choices and the food was served hot. In addition to continental options, there were vegetarian choices available. The room was comfortable, though cleanliness could have been improved. The beds were cozy and the large walk-in shower was a nice touch. The bed linens were clean and fresh towels were provided daily. There were ample parking spaces available. The dinner menu was a bit limited but satisfying. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. However, the restaurant seemed to lack organization, leading to slow service at times. Overall, it was a lively dining experience.
