Bidra med feedbackWe loved it! Here came with my brunch group and the service/food were both great! My favorite dishes were Grandmas Fried Rice, the Chung Dumplings and the Pickled Beef Noodle Soup. This location is much smaller than its Oak Park sister location, but it is cozy and feels like family. Your menu is also more traditional than the Oak Park location I love.
First try this place and was NOT disappointed!! Fantastic dumplings both fried and steamed, with generous portions of pork and spices; absolutely delicious!! The homemade noodles for the shrimps Chow my were heavenly!! The taste was great! Hot and with warm smiles from a wonderfully attentive staff! We will definitely try other items on their menu again....
Excellent dishes! Delicious spicy dishes from meaty noodle soups to sour pork bell soups. Juicy fresh dumplings and more. (Not all dishes are spicy). This restaurant is located in a strip room that is not unusual. But the jewel is Katy's dump! The trip to Westmont is worth it. The interior is simply dressed with cute wall art. Also clean. Service was very good. There were a number of patrons waiting to sit. Servers took our names down and asked cartridges to wait outside so it was not crowded inside. After sitting, they took our orders - each dish was served piping hot and tasteful. Servers speak English very well so it is easy to ask and order questions.
This restaurant is located 30 minutes outside the city and offers one of the best bowls of beef soup. The broth has a deep fleshy taste and the noodles are the perfect texture. The soup dumplings are fresh, but I thought they were just solid. There are many parking spaces, but there are limited seating in the hotel. It is worth the ride to eat delicious beef noodle soup.
This was some of the best dumplings and noodles I 've had outside of NYC! Fresh ingredients, unreal flavor! An intimate spot where (I 'm assuming Katy comes out to make sure everything is to your liking. Very much a family feel. Will be sure to visit every time I 'm in town!
