Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant deserves more stars and recognition! The service is excellent. The cashier woman (probably the manager) is friendly and even gave me a free tea while I waited for my order. The mi nuoc is delicious. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean. Definitely the best place for mi in Little Saigon.
I love that this place has different types of noodles. You can get the rice noodles, egg noodles or the clear ones or all three mixed in. I usually get the hu thieu Dac biet. It has a little of everything and the broth isn't too salty. The portion is enough for me to feed my kids without ordering an extra portion. It's clean and the staff are all so nice. I will say though, ordering and eating there is better than ordering Togo. We ordered Togo once and felt a little gypped. They definitely give you less in their Togo container. So save yourself the disappointment and just go there and eat.
Taste wise the food here isn't bad but I have gotten bad food poisoning here, twice!! The first time was forgivable but the second time I went with my mom, my brother and his family. This was on a Sunday. I am finally feeling better today, on a Friday. My mom called them the day after we were all feeling sick and told them to please check their food. They basically told her they thought she was lying and hung up on her. We did not ask for any type of compensation, only that we wanted to make them aware so they can be more careful in handling their food. It's a shame when we are only try to help as we understand how hard it is for restaurants these days.
I was in the mood for Vietnamese soup and happened to come across Bao Bao Mi Gia. Whether you prefer dried noodles or soup noodles, your craving for authentic Vietnamese cuisine will be satisfied here. The service was excellent.
The soup is decent, but the fried shrimp cake is a bit stale and greasy. However, their noodles are excellent - not overly soft, with a nice chewy texture and freshness. I highly recommend the egg noodle. The overall style is very authentic Saigonese and Vietnamese.
