The Landing Grill Sushi

Worst service ever we call an advance for special 80 birthday party . Mathew the manager very rude over talking me after explaining him we have not guetting service and is ver windy and a cold night for a 80 years old mom I was hopping to accommodate us party of 10 he didn’t care if we are having a bad night no service provided it he told us there is nothing he can do for us basically take or leave it . we went to the next door place the zing restaurant they took us right away beautiful live music good service

If you are planning a special event this is the perfect venue. I had a bridal shower here for my daughter. The setting was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the wait staff were attentive and accommodating. Everything was amazing! Coordinating the event was seamless as Stephaine and Carly were extremely responsive. And the view...well, the lake. It's simply gorgeous!

If I could give our server JJ, 5 stars, I would. He was friendly and extremely attentive. He deserves a raise for what he was dealing with next to us. Other than JJ, everything else was VERY disappointing. We were wedged in between 2 tables of 4. The table to my left had to have everything on the sushi menu explained to them to the extent that it took away from JJ helping us at first. The table to the right was constantly complaining and sending food back. Looking around, I saw no other 2-top tables on the entire patio. There were other couples by themselves sitting at 4-top tables. We could hear every word spoken at the tables beside us and had no privacy to have a conversation. Lastly, my shrimp was so overcooked. It was rubber. My husband's pasta was bland. I wish we had been treated as important as all of the people who likely live on the lake and eat there every weekend. It's too bad that The Landing doesn't care to have new diners patronizing their business.

Used to live in the area. Came up from San Diego last weekend. Had no idea reservations are required- you could always sit inside before. Lauren the hostess was so kind and understanding with our plight. She did everything she could to find us a table with a short wait time. Omar was our server and he was so friendly, happy, and attentive even though it was a mad house last Saturday. Everything was FANTASTIC. Same as I remembered (I ALWAYS ordered the salmon bento box with beurre blanc sauce but only teriyaki on menu now. Thankfully they let me substitute! Hubby had Korean flank steak stir fry and he said the beef was delicious. We started with the Albacore Sashimi Special and it was divine! The fish was so fresh that it basically melted in your mouth. Thank you for outstanding service, a beautiful atmosphere, and delicious food! We will definitely be back- but we'll make reservations for sure next time!

Menu items are a bit pricey, so for us, this wouldn't be an every day experience, but we found the service, the food, the presentation and the ambience to be picture-perfect. It didn't hurt that the weather was incredible on this May day and we had a lovely view of the lake while we sat outside, but under shaded cover. When we're in town again, we'll be back.
