Bidra med feedbackFood was great. Service? Not so much. We sat in the front left corner where no one can see you with the tall back booths. From ordering to drink refills to getting our check was not great.
The Carne Asada was spectacular! Grilled cactus, grilled queso fresco and onion with a jalapeno. On top of a flavorful, tender steak. Very impressed. The service was on point. We also had the cilanteo cream enchiladas served with black beans and rice. Every bite was authentic and delicious.
We were looking for some place new and came across Red Habanero in a Google search. Decor was beautiful. I love restaurants with fountains in the dining room. Unfortunately, we weren't seated by it. Shame. Menu was pretty extensive, made it hard to choose. I loved the multi-color tortilla chips served with salsa. Just a nice little touch. Ordered Chicken enchiladas (don't remember what it was called on the menu). Everything was delicious as far as flavor but the chicken was so tough it wasn't enjoyable. It was really too bad because the queso and rice and seasonings were great. It was just too tough to really enjoy. So, overall very nice place but I'd order something else next time. Recommended.
Great place if you want to be up all night long on the toilet. Food was bland and the salsa was spicy tomato paste. And got the wife a pina colada $15.00 really?? We wont be coming back EVER We do not normally post reviews like this but this time was really not good.
Boyfriend and I had a reservation for 7:45pm at the restaurant. We decided to bicycle down there and needed up being 15 minutes late. The hostess greeted us and asked if we had a reservation. I apologized to her, and she had no problem seating us on the patio. Service was absolutely wonderful. They had a small sign made for the table with my last name on it that was placed near the center. I thought that was a very neat touch to a reservation.I had the bean and cheese burrito, it’s basic and flavorful. Habanero’s was lacking an alcarte option some other Mexican restaurants have, but their choices are solid. My boyfriend had the quesadilla Monterrey. I make some pretty good quesadillas at home and normally don’t order them because some are lack luster, his quesadillas were absolutely delicious!Another note is left the restaurant and forgot my bag. I called the restaurant and the bartender answered. I told him I forgot my backpack and they easily found it. I rode my bike back to the restaurant and everyone was extra friendly in returning my bag. I plan on returning.
