Bidra med feedbackVisited as a group of 4 on a Sunday. 3 different meals (2 had duck) and none of us had a complaint about anything. I picked a Sunday roast and the veg was the best I've ever had in a restaurant, I even ate the green stuff! Service was excellent too.
Nice friendly restaurant with polite staff. Good location with lovely views across the Thames Estuary. A range of food options on the menu for starters, mains and desserts. The venue itself has some history, as it used to be the location of two toilets along the seafront, hence the name “Toulouse” two-loos. Thankfully public facilities have long since gone. The restaurant is a welcome addition to the seafront for a lovely dining experience. (Picture: Steak and ale pie. Dark chocolate brownie)
Great Bistro in a perfectly central location to all the action on the front. The service was very good. The portion size of the Fish And Chips was incredible and a perfectly fluffy batter coating, not oily at all. I had the Steak Ale Pie with triple cooked chips and Red Wine Jus awesome. Really good experience which I highly recommend.
We had a lovely meal here on Sunday The staff were great, we didn't feel on top of our neighbors and we weren't rushed
Overall lovily but the soup of the day tasted like waterly vegetable stock. However the fish and chips tasted superb but left alot of oil in my plate like they took it the directly out the fryer and onto my plate with no time to drain. The desert however was fantastic. Overall I enjoyed my meal but a few things stopped it being as good so it should had been.
