Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I were not a fan, $100 dinner for 2, which we kind of expected, but the food quality seems to have gone down, our family hyped it up but it was kind of a let down. The staff on the other hand. Were super friendly and amazing Service: Dine in
I’ve been a fan of Casa Novello over the years and have recently been in several times(had gotten out of sync during 2020-2021) I had forgotten how delicious their Mediterranean grilled shrimp is. I had it again last night, and that dish last night might have been my favorite Italian meal I’ve ever eaten. We got the butternut squash ravioli as an appetizer and rounded out the meal with a cappuccino. It was unbelievably good and I will be back for certain.
AMAZING FOOD! So good! We had eggplant parm which came with some pasta with marinara. We also got some delicious bread and tiramisu for dessert. It was very filling and the portions were huge. We had to take home for leftovers and it was just as good heated up the next day. The service was superb and the owner/manager was very attentive as well. It was a very busy night and we lucked out not having a reservation to get a free table, so I recommend making reservations if you're able to beforehand. It was also very loud with lots of happy, loud customers, but it was fun to people watch and see some of the locals. We are from Kentucky, so it was fun to see local Mainers enjoying fellowship with one another and terrific food.
10/10 would recommend. Try not to lick your plate! The vodka sauce is hands down the best (it’s not on the menu, but ask for it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
