The Grille at Westborough Country Club

This is my second time dining here. Both experiences were the same. The food was amazing but the restaurant was too busy to adequately serve it's diners. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks. It took 1 1/2 to get our food. The waitress kept apologizing which made us feel bad for her. The first time we visited on valentines day we experienced a 30 minute wait before we were even greeted. Basically, the food is great but plan on waiting.

The Grille at Westborough Country Club shines for it's delicious food, relaxed ambiance and excellent wait staff. I have dined here several times for lunch and also dinner with the girls and we have always enjoyed our meals.

I want the Grille to succeed--it has a nice family/community atmosphere. The drinks were terrible (flavorless, watered down? , some of the food was good (short ribs but the service is just horrible. I mean really horrible. Seems like there are plenty of people working there but the wait staff needs a serious overhaul.

The restaurant was packed with a younger crowd and the band was extremely loud. I requested a heated plate for my Prime Rib, but the Chef refused due to liability concerns. As a result, my food arrived cold and the portion of Rib was small and overcooked. Despite asking for a medium-rare steak, it was served well done and very tough to eat.

Fantastic food, reasonable prices, very friendly wait staff, live music Sat night! It was great we will be back!!
