Bidra med feedbackWe had the espresso martini (3.5/5) and mule (4.5/5). We had the lobster cheese tortellini (4/5), which was good and flavorful for the price, however, the sauce was a bit watery. The Cesar salad (4/5) was also tasty but light on the dressing. Overall a good place for dinner and people watching (if sitting outside).Food: 4/5
Great spot for whiskey especially bourbon drinkers. Huge selection and clear, giant ice cubes on request. Love the atmosphere inside and people watching at the Wharf St patio tables. Terrific, upscale bar food as well. Been there many times (for the ice, lol) but after a recent visit, found my card was triple charged the morning after. Called at 7a and left a message. I was FLOORED when I received a call from the owner WITHIN AN HOUR! Told me the two bogus charges would probably drop off within a day or two (they dropped the next day) and if not, to call him. This level of attention from management is why this place is great in all aspects.
Cool outside seating. Awesome atmosphere. Rough service. We stopped in at 8 pm on Tuesday. Not very busy. The wife ordered an Irish coffee (a specialty drink on the menu). Was answered with an awkward, passive-aggressive “I’ll check to see if we have any coffee brewed.” The server returned and said, “There’s no coffee brewed. I can put some on if you really want.” Making it clear we were an inconvenience for ordering a menu option. Needless to say, my wife felt pressured and did not ask her to put a pot of coffee on.Maybe this is the norm, and not the server’s fault, but what management coaches. If so, why not note on the menu that coffee is unavailable after a specific time?
Had no problem getting a table for 4 just before 6 pm on a Friday. Attentive service, knowledgeable staff, great cocktails and food! I'll be back!Food: 5/5
I'm from the west coast and don't look like anyone from this city. The older middle age bartender pretty much treated me as I expected to be treated.Passive aggressive, no eye contact, dismissive. There were literally 6 people in the place. He comes up to my date and I, takes her order and completely ignores me. The entire other human being sitting next to her Lol.He then makes the rounds, takes another person's order who walks in after, then decides I am worthy of having my order taken.I'm a scotch person and order a rare pour, he can't even find because people don't usually spend $50/60 for a 1.5 ounce pour so he pokes around and finds it.The whole experience was so off putting.I left a tip commensurate with the experience. No thanks.
