Bidra med feedbackWe found this restaurant accidentally on our Memorial day weekend. The restaurant surprised us with how great the service and food was. The presentation was beautiful and between dishes they gave us sorbets as palate cleansers. We have never seen anything like this in the city for this price. Thank you guys for having us, we will visit again!
I don’t know why I waited so long to eat here. Everyone has been telling me for years how good it is and I finally went!And I’ll be back.I went with a large group and the service was incredible. Friendly, courteous, and professional.The food was amazing.I’ll be back again soon!!
My husband and I went for my birthday on a recommendation and so glad we did.Wait staff was polite and friendly and catered to our requests. Food was delicious...had the grilled octopus for appetizer, Delmonico steak and Roasted duck entrees, key lime pie for dessert. The little extras like blood orange sorbet elevated the experience. Thank you for such a lovely meal!
Well last night January 28th, I made a reservation for my daughter Birthday. When I called I asked if they provided cake because it was my daughters birthday. When the person called me back to make the reservation I should of guessed by the tone of his voice that maybe we shouldn’t go. Not knowing that the person calling back was not only the chef and the owner. I spoke to this not friendly person at all about having a cake for my daughters birthday he responded with yeah we do and I asked for candles and his respond was yeah. The phone was breaking up so I understood that they would do a cake . So we go because so many people were raving how delicious the food is. We arrived few minutes early and they sat us down I let the hostess know we had ordered a cake and she proceeded to say ok I will find out. Very pleasant and very professional. She came back and said that they had no request . I explained my conversation that I had with whom took my reservation, not knowing it was with not only the chef but also the owner. We precede to look at the menu. Well then a gentleman approaches the table very rude and that he was the one that took the reservation and no never said anything about a cake that we do only slices of cake and candle and precedes to say that he wasn’t looking for and argument so I proceeded to tell him ok maybe I miss understood my fault. As we proceed to order my daughter and her husband were like that was really rude of him no one was arguing with him but I shrugged it off because I had another cake at home waiting for her . The hostess again came back to the table apologizes and I told her that I miss understood and it’s ok. Our fist time there and it was my daughter birthday. We order our food. Then my son-in-law is like that chef was rude with you I knew he was didn’t want to ruin our night. As the night progresses the hostess comes over again and checks on us on the food . At that point we are having conversation because I had expressed that I thought whom ever came to the table to talk to me about my reservation was rude and the bringing up about being an argument because I wasn’t arguing, she proceeded to tell us that he was not only the chef but also the owner. So this is for the owner and the chef. First I did ask about a cake. Second you should be a bit more pleasant on the phone and to your patrons, I could of been a food critic.Third I wasn’t being argumentative you were. One thing I do want to say your waiter was very good so was the hostess . I didn’t understand why the hostess wasn’t wearing a mask when we got there and then half way through dinner she had one on. For the food we ordered , for appetizers we had the ricotta and rolls, octopus and the shrimp, main course we ordered filet mignon, salmon, prime rib and I believe cod. The food was ok. The octopus and shrimp were amazing. My husband had the filet mignon and that was very good, my son in-law had the cod he sad that was amazing. My daughter had the salmon she enjoyed but a little mushy not flaky at al . I had the prime rib well done well it was well done burnt. The bill came to $351.for four people. The waiter did come back when we were finished with dinner if we wanted dessert at that point my daughter was like no , she didn’t appreciate how the chef came at me for no reason and very rude. He did bring back four cannolis I think on the house at the point I was ready to go. To the chef and owner try to be a little nicer to your patrons, they are the ones that make you or break you. There are a lot of restaurant. Would I come back probably not . I work for a living just like you. It’s hard out here. Getting rude service from an owner of a restaurant and then paying for it’s not in my menu . For me you are very cocky and arrogant. I hope you are not like that with your employees because right now is very hard getting good help. Overall goodnight including your rudeness which I wasn’t going to ruin it for my daughter. Any Other night I would of walked out. I can spend my hard earned money in other restaurant
We come here pretty often. They are always accommodating for last minute reservations when we call. The food is excellent, one of our fav places around. They have never failed to impress. The only reason I didn't go 5 stars is that I don't generally care for the cocktails. However the food is enough to keep me coming back again and again.
