The Bull Inn - West Oxfordshire

I took my wife and son plus Leo the dog to lunch yesterday. We had an excellent meal with good service. Charlbury is a very attractive town but car parking can be a challenge. We had a delicious lunch, we were looked after by cheery knowledgable staff. I had the best cappuccino! We will go back very soon. Service: 5 Location: 4

Stunning building. Stripped back, austere decor with perfect incandescent lighting throughout. Food was very good: simple, fresh, well executed. Thoroughly enjoyed our night. Service: 5 Location: 5

The restaurant good was excellent however I was very disappointed in the general service and ambience. The lighting was so low that we couldn’t read the menu without the aid of our mobile phone torches! We were recommended a wine by the waitress but she omitted to tell us the price £70! nearly a 200% mark up!! We did not feel very welcome and the bill was excessive for what we had! I shall not be eating there again, nor will I be recommending it to my friends! Food drinks: See comments above
