Handel's Homemade Ice Cream Yogurt

My favorite ice rink in Western PA. The praline pecan is better than Pralines and Cream. They used to have crushed cone, and this combination was my favorite ice cream/cone combo everywhere. It is still worth half an hour drive for a sugar cone. Make sure their services are very generous. A single blade waffle cone is the equivalent of what 3 cups would be on a sugar cone. My children thought they had hit the lottery. I also recommend the strawberry cake. It's like a royal cheesecake blizzard, but it has many of the great pieces of cheesecake you're looking at in the blizzard, and it's a better, real-suck cheesecake... It's probably a good thing I don't live any closer.

The staff is super friendly AND the ice cream is AWESOME! Social distancing in full effect, cleaning of counters outside often and enforcement of face mask politics! We even had a rainbow as we enjoyed our ice!!

I love this place. We've been here for years. It is always good, the staff is always friendly, always a good experience!

Good expensive ice cream. Little ones are free. Wife and children love it

Big servings, creamy ice cream, helpful staff--we'll be back! Only complaint: the waffle cone is thinner than I like, but maybe that's a good thing if you're counting calories? (But if you're counting calories, what are you doing looking up a place like Handel's?
