Dragon Magic Noodle House - WEST MACKAY

The restaurant has excellent service with friendly delivery staff, but unfortunately, the food was not up to par. It was overcooked and tough, indicating that they may need a new cook.

The food used to be decent in the past but recently it has been terrible. The beef dishes were chewy and tasteless, and the rice seemed to have been microwaved.

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly. The service was a bit inconsistent, but it was clear that the staff were making an effort. The standout was the food, with the Hot and Sour Soup being particularly delicious.

Had Combination Special Fried Rice, Satay beef and Chicken Cashew and Veg. Delivered. None of the meat was velveted and as such, was tough and grainy. The sauces were the consistency of water. The Satay had half a take-away container of oil in it and only very vaguely tasted like satay. Quite repulsive in flavour and texture. The Chicken dish tasted like boiled chicken and Soy Sauce. Plenty of Cashews, which was a very small ray of light in an otherwise dismal affair. The rice had burned corn kernels throught, the same horrid meat, some grated carrot mixed with what appeared to be unflavoured, unfried, boiled rice. We certainly won 't order from there again. Not recommended by us at all.

I usually order home delivery from Dragin Magic once or twice a week. I like their Wonton Soup, their Steamed Dimsims and others.
