Bidra med feedbackI used to go here weekly and have done for many years. However, after discovering a dish was missed on arriving home 10 minutes later I called. However, I was advised there was no driver available to drop off the missed item so they wanted me to drive all the way back so another 20 minutes round trip) to collect it yet by the time all of this took place and the staff member and the chef spoke the dishes I had were now stone cold yet they refused to replace my food order yet still wanted me to drive all the way in. Despite explaining that everything was now cold and I have been a customer for many years, paying upwards of £25-£30 each week my custom meant nothing. Eventually after about 10 minutes of the staff member and the chef talking I was advised a driver was now available. However, as above the food order was all cold and although the staff member said they would give me an extra rice which I did not need) the rude chef who I could hear angrily shouting) was insistent on not willing to replace any of the now stone cold order, and I was advised to just put it all in the microwave! Which I believe after paying over £30 I should not have to do. After realising my value as a customer meant nothing and then highlighting I would accept the item being delivered but noted my dissatisfaction and reluctance to using the takeaway again the staff member quite unbelievably and extremely abruptly) then said well your not getting your items and hung up. So not only were my items all cold, I was missing an item and because the staff member put the order through incorrectly I was overcharged by over £5 for the order. In summary, the customer service was disgraceful, the chef clearly does not value anyones custom and to hang up on a customer, not provide the food and overcharge is disgusting. Consequently, I will never use Dragon Palace and will happily give my weekly custom to Panda Restaurant.
Stay away from this place, the food is terrible, probably the worst Chinese in Bathgate. Total waste of money, I will never eat from there again.
We ordered the food for delivery so can expect that it mat not be as good as eating in the restaurant. The food was fine however the honey chilli shredded beef was mostly batter (not great for £7) but the sauce was still quite tasty. There was not a lot of fiery/peppery taste to the salt pepper chips. Vegan options were a bit predictable, it would be nice to see a vegan option not just tofu based however was aware of this when ordering the food. I phoned prior to query the type of noodles used in the plain chow mein, the person who answered was very polite and friendly and dealt with my query promptly.
Myself and my partner went for European menu..I took fillet steak and she took sirloin,both medium and were sharing chips.in Europe when you ask for a steak it should come plain but these were served in some sort of cinnamon gravy which overcooked the steaks and we gave up trying to eat them as they were so overcooked and tough.i washed them off and gave to dog,even she couldn’t chew them..this place has started to go downhill for a while now but for £23 you should have a decent meal...won’t be using again. Oh and it took over an hour and a half for delivery European food should be served as European food and we should get a choice if we want Chinese style gravy ruining it...
Ordered a home delivery, estimated deliver of 45 minutes, okay dont mind but was actually delivered after 1 hour 45 minutes. Two calls were made chasing the food up. This is unacceptable and it doesn’t really matter what the food is like when it finally turns up as you are so wound up by the whole experience. There is no point providing a delivery service if its going to take so long, after all you are charging for it this is why you get 1 star
