Sunrise Deli - West Knoxville

Great little spot in halls! Dine-in or carry-out! Order ahead of you've got the chance, they are busy 9/10! Which is a testament to how amazing the food is! I have yet to try something I didn't absolutely love! Attentive staff, friendly service, DELICIOUS food! Full marks for the areas best lunch/early dinner spot!Vegetarian options: Definitely offering vegetarian options (although I'm unsure if they are clearly marked, will update this review next time I stop by)Dietary restrictions: Unsure *I have asked to have things removed from menu items with no issues*Parking: Shared parking lot. Parking may mean a walk from about 2 or 3 rows away from the storefront. Busy plaza all around. Avoid peak hours for easy parking.Kid-friendliness: Kid/family friendly. From food and pricing to environment and selection Sunrise is an easy choice for good eats when the family is along with.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility parking and near by ramps to the covered storefront/strip area. Booth seating with enough space to comfortably sit at the ends. *Unsure of dedicated accessibility seating, although I'm sure they would be happy to accommodate*

A personal choice of Mayor Glen Jacobs! That aside, it's a small but comfortable deli. Plenty of options of what you can get to eat. The Deli as you would expect from a Deli is very clean. The staff are very friendly. All and all, it's a nice place to bring your family for lunch. I meant let's be fair. If the Mayor of Knoxville TN comes here on his lunch break, does anything more need to be said about the legitimacy of this place? I'm giving this one 5 stars out of 5.

I found out about this place by word of mouth from John Hickman on FB. So I went on 8/24/23. Holy cow, the food was delicious! I got a roast beef on dark, fries, and sweet tea! They now have a new customer! I’m extremely picky about my fries, and sweet tea, and both were absolutely perfect. The hoagie was steamed perfectly as I had asked for an extra steam without it being soggy. I’m back on the ordering page because I’m thinking I may go back tonight for the club and fries, and of course sweet tea! If you love old style steamed subs…DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE BY! I might also say that the staff are as nice as can be! It was such a pleasure to eat at an establishment that the staff actually act like they want you there!! I can’t say enough good things about this little place! Well, I’ve said enough, let’s hope the club is also to die for!! ??EDIT: in 2 weeks I’ve eaten here 3 times. I’ve had the roast beef sub (from above), I’ve had the club sandwich and fries, also just as delicious, and tonight 9-11-23, I had the chicken sandwich with potato wedges, and sweet tea. Again, DELICIOUS!! My only thing is I would suggest eating there or picking it up yourself. Doordash doesn't get it to you very quickly for the most part, so while some things may still be slightly warm, they’re just not warm enough. Enough to take away from the food. Not the restaurants fault though.
