Bidra med feedbackGave this place a second chance to get on my good side with a lunch visit. No wait. Server was prompt and attentive. Food was blah. I ordered broiled white fish, blackened, with broccoli casserole and mashed potatoes. The fish was tasteless. Potatoes had little or no milk or butter. Broccoli casserole was decent. I had to salt and pepper everything, which is not something I usually do. Based on the normally crowded parking lot, this is a popular restaurant, but not for me.
I got there at 730pm and checked in. It was supposed to be ready to pickup at 730pm. I called and told them where I was. I called again at 745pm. I called at 751pm to the store to speak to the manager in the main store instead o pickup. The person said they would get the manager and hung up on me! And a few minutes later I got my order. And the ribs looked great but way over done and very dry.
Atmosphere 4.5 – no matter which Cheddar’s we visit, I’m always pleased with the atmosphere, nice and pleasant, not stuffy Baby Back Ribs 4.5 – excellent flavor, fall off the bone cooked perfectly Baked Potato 2.0 – just sour cream, butter, and cheese, and greasy Free Croissant Rolls Butter 4.0 – always a treat! Grilled Shrimp 4.0 – very good if a little too salty Steamed Broccoli 5.0 – cooked perfectly Long Island Iced Tea – 2.0, just wasn’t the best Salmon w/Red Beans, Rice Carrotts 5.0 – wifey said her dish was excellent
We visited Cheddars at 5615 Clinton Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37912 for dinner on May 26.2022. We were disappointed, first our waitress was inadequate, we had to repeat a few times what we want, and she came back a few times with no drinks, coughing badly, explaining that she chocked up with a biscuit, since she ate a biscuit (it was around 5 pm). Then, another waitress came and I ordered Samuel Adams beer, they brought me some beer, I tasted it, it was not the taste of Samuel Adams. She went back and explain that this is Samuel Adams. Meanwhile, our appetizers were served and the beer for my husband and my friends. The waitress comeback and explain that it is Summer Ale beer and I asked to be changed, as it tasted like Blue moon. The manager came to solve the issue, his name was Daniel. He promised me to bring New castle beer and have had wait almost another 20-25 min. The waitress came and I asked her what happen with my beer, she said, let me go check, she came to tell me that they don’t have that beer, too, but no one came to inform me. Any way, we finished our appetizer, dinned came and I had no beer. We almost finished our dinner when the waitress came to ask me to bring another kind, I refused because we are almost finished our dinner and it was about more than an hour pass since we came to the restaurant. My husband and I ordered New Orleans pasta, which is shrimp and chicken with pasta and New Orleans sauce. The chicken inside was hard to chew, they were irregular pieces, look like leftover chicken from another dish. (I made a picture). Pasta was ok, shrimp was ok, but there are no vegetables, as it was written on the menu. We were deeply disappointed, from the service, from the food and from Manager’s act or ignorance. Food and service were very good and the prices fair. Location was very convenient to I-75 and provided a nice respite from travel.
