Zao Modern Asian Cafe - West Jordan

I can?t get enough of the food! I go here at least 3 times a week and have either the burrito, tacos or the Zao salad with either steak or chicken. The sauce they use is so flavorful! And I love their juices! Especially, the seasonal watermelon ????! Everyone is so nice! You must try it!!

My wife and I are Gluten-Free. Orangel was EXTREMELY careful and attentive to our needs! It?s always stressful going into a restaurant because some are more understanding than others with the whole GF situation. But the service was quick, friendly and super awesome! Thanks Orangel and staff!

Food tasted fine .. I have a peanut/ tree nut allergy.. Luckily it?s not severe. I just have to be careful not to consume any.. Well I asked for no peanuts and got peanuts.. itchy mouth and a terrible tummy ache not so fun.. please be mindful when customers make requests. The nuts were basically hidden so I didn?t realize the mistake in time.

I picked up an online order and also got a bowl for myself for dinner. For some reason they are charging extra right now for chicken so I tried meatballs with curry sauce. My bowl had 5 yummy meatballs. Unfortunately the curry sauce was runny and bland. The taco and bowl I got for the kids were not enjoyed. The noodles and meat had no flavor event with teriyaki sauce. The meat didn't taste Iike real steak according to my 10 year old nephew. Even the apple juice that came with the kids meal tasted watered down. It did say organic but I tried a sip and no thanks. Service was pretty fast but the food was mediocre unfortunately..

This is a great place to eat in Jordan Landing. They are efficient, friendly, and the atmosphere is good. I am honestly not sure why it isn?t more crowded. They have a lot of gluten free options. In fact, most of the menu is gluten free. I will definitely be returning.
