Taste On Melrose - West Hollywood

I was here for my birthday brunch and was really excited for the date. It took a very long time to serve my table. The waiter was super friendly, he was just a little neglected, maybe because he was understated? I'm not sure. But it just seemed like he came back to us every 30 minutes. So we got our mimoses, he made sure they were regularly filled, but there is only so long that we can survive from alcohol before you start to get Graggy out of hunger. Overall, I'm pretty sure we were there for an hour before we got our food and that really went back the overall experience. Was the food good when it finally came? And the whole ambience was really nice. And the parts were great. But man, that was a murderer. I go back and hope the service has improved.

Always reliable. Good food and not overpriced. Elegant, without being cultivated.

The appetizers were great but they brought out our main course shortly after we received our appetizers. My guess is that they then put the main course under a heat lamp until we finished our appetizers and my steak was over cooked and dry.
