The food was great1 waiter was very friendly and nice, but seemed very new and was unfamiliar with the menu. runners and bussers great! we'll be back.
Made a reservation, but they didn't have a table saved for us. Came to hear vinyl, but the needle on their record player was broken. Ordered three pizzas, but the waitress only brought two. Waited an hour for our food despite the place being relatively empty. Pizza sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce.
B-Side Pizza is situated in the lobby of the Ziggy Hotel, right next to the reception area. Because of this, it feels more like a hotel lounge than a typical restaurant. The main draw here is definitely the happy hour, which runs from 4 to 6 PM. They offer a large slice of pizza and a beer for just $9, and those pizza slices are massive—it's easy to have a full meal with just one or two slices. The food is good, but it’s not something you would go out of your way to try.
This restaurant really shouldn't be listed on Open Table; the photos online are misleading and don’t accurately reflect the atmosphere. Picture a college frat party, complete with music blaring so loudly that conversation is impossible. The bartenders and waitstaff seem indifferent at best. The setting resembles a divey frat house just off a hotel lobby. We walked in, couldn't even hear ourselves speak, took one look around, and decided to head across the street to Katana instead. With Casa Madera and Katana just a short walk away, I really don't understand what the management is thinking—beyond the fact that pizza is cheap and profitable.
