Soda Shot - West Haven

This place is too legit!!! I came home, ate my Chicago dog, drank my drink, and immediately had to write this review! It is like a dream come true! Their Chicago dog was amazing and the closest thing I have seen in Utah to the real deal! Their drinks are also delicious and I had to join the monthly unlimited club after going in my first time! This is definitely a go to eatery!

We were hesitant due to the reviews, but went anyway. We wanted a hot dog. Very happy we went. My wife had the small hot dog, I do not remember it's name and I had the Naked Dog all beef hot dog) with mustard and relish. I recommend not getting the small dog as it gets lost in the bun. The Naked Dog was great!! They do not skimp on the condiments. You will need napkins. The relish was great as was the bun!! The service was slow. The customer service made up for the slow service. We are very patient and customer service is very important. The girl at the window apologized for the slow service. She was very nice and treated us right. Another lady came to the window and apologized for the slow service also. She was very apologetic. We both had shakes and they were great! I hope the location does not hurt this business. It is not visible from the road. This was our first time going to Soda Shot and will return.

They ruined the legacy of The Hot Dog Place. They cut the menu in half. Stopped making their own hot dog buns (replacing them with hoagie rolls) and switched to inferior meat. A huge disappointment. They should stick to soda. They obviously don't care about the dogs.

Rip off!!!! Don't sign up for a membership unless you want them to charge you whatever they want whenever they want. I signed up for a membership and because I was't going there often enough to warrant having a membership I wanted to cancel. They told me it was canceled, but then charged me anyway and are still charging me. On 4/30/2 they charged me $21.65 which is right for the membership, but then they charged me $16.18 on 5/5/20 and $26.96 on 5/4/20. And this is not the first time I have had this problem with them. In February I was charged $44.00 for membership with the previous owner, who took care of it. He refunded it. He was awesome! they asked me to give them another chance, so I did. But I seriously regret that decision. The current owner is not as honest. I have never been one who wants something for nothing. But I don't like being charged random amounts for nothing either though. I called the owner there today, she was down right rude, and told me that is not her problem, that it was the previous owners problem and there was nothing she could do about it. I am going to have to dispute this with my bank, and get a new card so that they cant take my money anymore.
