Bidra med feedbackWe saw on google that this restaurant opened at 11:30, so we then showed up, but found that the closed sign was on and the hours were listed on the door as opening around 12. we waited half an hour in our car before we find some tables with people who already eat. eating here is good, but they seem really scattered! we have finally placed our order and have gyeran jjim, gun mandu, mul naengmyeon, jjamppong bab. we waited and waited without eating and then noticed that the jjamppong we had ordered had been accidentally given to another table. they came up and apologized and said they would do another. we waited and finally got a jjamppong, but none of our other food had made it. after one, the mul naengmyeon was brought to our table, but we had not yet had any of the two appetizers. I asked where they were and the workers realized that they had forgotten the mandu and accidentally brought the gyeran jjim to another table. they took it from this table and tried to serve us, but we said we don't need it anymore (after we sit on someone else table for a while) and also asked to announce the mandu. Finally they were all super friendly and apologetic and eating that we did was good. I feel like this place has amazing potential, but it is simply so deorganized and not a more pleasant place to have a meal. that's why I've got a picture. it tastes much better than it looks?
Great service, and portions were large. Prices are reasonable. This was my first time having Korean food in Connecticut. I usually eat Korean food in Ktown in NYC.My family thought the sushi was great. Thanks for a pleasant evening.
Tbh this experience was up and down. It was packed cause it’s a Sunday, so I wasn’t picky about the service being slow. We weren’t given water with our meal, we had to ask. I tried to immerse myself into the Korean culture and use polite Korean to converse with staff but they did not engage with me. Which is fine because my pronunciation probably wasn’t good and it’s their choice. My server never came back to our table to check in with us after receiving our orders(maybe this is Korean style This is frustrating because the other tables around us were helped periodically. The food did arrive very fast which was great. We also were not offered other beverages. Here’s what was good: the bibim naengmyeon, the sushi, and mandu. Here’s what was not too good: the egg and the single piece of beef on the naengmyeon and the shrimp udon. The udon wasn’t horrible, but it was underwhelming. The egg tasted rancid and the beef was just not good. Also why only one single piece of 1 in by 2 in beef. The sauce and noodles were great though. The place looked very promising from the outside because it smelled good and you could see Korean natives enjoying it. Overall the food is probably good and they just had a bad moment with us. I looked at reviews before coming so I had high hopes. The inside is very nice and they have Korean music playing and dramas on the tv. I don’t think my server liked me very much otherwise, if you like Korean food give this place a shot.
OMG! Fantastic food and service. They really go the extra mile on the amenities. From a variety of kimchee and a delicious salmon roll to start (no charge) to watermelon to finish (again no charge). The Seafood Soon Tofu was delicious, the Tonkatsu was also, but the Tang Su Yuk was the best sweet and sour I have had in decades! Absolutely amazing. This place is a must visit if you are hungry for great food.
As a Mother and Son duo, we absolutely loved this restaurant. They were warm, welcoming, and very attentive, especially towards my seven year old son. The atmosphere is amazing and everything is very clean. We often go on Mommy and Son dates and are always looking for new family-friendly restaurants with delicious food; we've definitely found ourselves a new favorite! My son rates this restaurant's food and service 100 Stars ?We will most definitely be returning soon. Thank you for your amazing service, your amazing food and for making us feel so welcomed.
