Bidra med feedbackDuring a trip to Loch Lomond, myself and a group of friends were searching for a place to eat before continuing our journey. The restaurant we chose was not very crowded, which was fortunate since we were not in a hurry. However, despite being a large group of around 9 or 10 people, we waited nearly 20 minutes just to receive our drinks, which were mostly cans of juice. It seemed like the staff were not very interested in serving us, making us feel unwelcome. The interactions felt awkward to the point where we found it funny. The food, when it finally arrived, was average at best and not worth the long wait.
My family had soup and sandwiches at this restaurant. The food was decent and the prices were reasonable. However, the atmosphere felt a bit dull, with a half-hearted adventure theme that seemed temporary and lacking in warmth. It gave off the vibe of a cafe located in a warehouse unit.
My family, including two young children, went to this restaurant and waited 45 minutes for two bowls of soup and two kids' meals. They forgot to bring out the third bowl of soup, but we were so frustrated with the long wait that we didn't bother to say anything. The restaurant wasn't even very crowded. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. The food we did receive was only average at best.
Sadly no longer the Dug Cafe ' . But still dog friendly out on the deck. Super views. Lovely staff. And very reasonably priced and tasty lite bits.
Very inattentive staff, had to seat ourselves, take our own menus and remind staff of our existence twice before ordering. All but two out of seven of our orders were messed up or had to be changed or sent back, largely due to miscommunication or just lack of communication among staff. Eventually sorted out, food was quite food. No discount or anything offered in compensation though. Good choices for gluten free but staff not very knowledgable about dietary requirements soup for lactose intolerant almost certainly had dairy in it...
