The Seaside Boarding House Restaurant Bar

This restaurant is located in a wonderful location with views of the sea. very friendly and attentive staff. we had a pleasant lunch and will return.

We spent many lunches on the terrace last year, but this time we met with friends for lunch and it was a little cold outside! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing. I usually prefer fish dishes, but this time I tried the pork belly and it was delicious! Two of us ordered it and loved it, while the others had monkfish and prawn curry. The food was of a high standard, and we enjoyed a pleasant couple of hours there. The restaurant has a warm and bright atmosphere with a magnificent view of the beautiful sea.

We walked from West Bay with friends to eat here but were told by the waiter that there were no tables available despite only one terrace table being occupied. As we walked away I called SBH and was told we could have a table in...a short while perhaps it was our attire that the waiter didn't approve of. We walked a little further to Hive Beach and ate in the Hive Beach Cafe where the staff were welcoming and the food was excellent.

We went for Sunday midday, eating was delicious and of a very high standard and the workers were very attentive and worth knowing about the dishes and the weeping list. the location is ideal with view of the sea with a simple modern interieur that reflects its position on the sea.

We have dinned at the SBH on a few occasions and the food service has always been exceptional, if you like fish this is the place to go in Dorset. Family friendly staff and beautiful views. stars!
