We have been lucky to have been able to visit Beaminster at least once a year for past 6 years. When here, our favourite watering hole is The Greyhound. Food is homemade...good and substantial and we believe kitchen uses local ingredients when possible. I 'm a lager drinker and this is served well...and understand beer drinkers enjoy the choice of ales. Landlord and staff are attentive providing good service in a simple, rustic country pub. No intrusive music or TV... simply old fashioned conversation. Dogs are made welcome, as are tourists...it is well worth a visit.
