The Crown Inn - West Dorset

Only back from west dorset. that's our favorite breedport pig. excellent palmers ales always come up top pointed! and eating is the right house boiled pub grub. you don't let anyone starve, that's safe. highly recommended!

We stopped on our way home to Emsworth, lovely friendly staff and very comfortable place to be . My partner had the cottage pie and I had fish in batter. Both were beautifully cooked but we just couldn’t finish it all . Very reasonable price for what you had . We will definitely go back next time we visit Devon

On the road back we stopped at random in this pub. the card is nice with fresh and English products. We ate an excellent pie (to the meat). boss and friendly staff and typical decor pub.

This evening we stopped here for dinner. We had never been here before so thought we would try something different. I ordered the madras, which could have used a little more flavour, HOWEVER!!!!!!! Everything else was on point, superb food, fantastic beer and great service! Highly recommended.

A nice bike friendly pub. Went there for a charity bike ride. Toilets were lovely and clean, modern and smelt lovely. The rest of the pub seemed a bit more old fashioned in comparison. Staff were friendly and they put plenty on knowing it would be busy. Didn't get to eat there so can't comment on food. I certainly would pop in again if I was passing.
