Pickerman's Soup Sandwich

This is the top sandwich shop in Des Moines and the surrounding area!

Numerous Uno is my favorite sandwich. I use to work closer and would get their yummy soups but now try to hit them when I'm close. Fresh and delicious. Fast but not fast food. L

Unfortunately, we were unable to try the soups due to it being a busy day, but the Scotcharoo more than made up for it!

This fantastic little restaurant is a gem! We stopped for lunch with my family after my dad's doctor appointments in Des Moines. I ordered the #1 with Italian dressing and my husband had the meatball sub. Both of us can confidently say that it was the best sandwich we have ever had!

Finally, a good meatball bottom. Every time I order a meatball Sub in a restaurant, I usually get a combination of too much bread, tenderness and meatballs that taste as if they were frozen for 8 years. Pickerman's came with perfectly roasted bread, a large red sauce and delicate/tasteful meatballs. Every time I go to this place, the people who work there are nice. Good job!
