Hy-vee Mealtime - West Des Moines

Make sure you check the expiration dates in this store. Main complaint is there is never anyone in the hot food, salads area to help you if you want a pint or quart of something or a hot meal. I'm in this store daily and often give up waiting for someone to come out and acknowledge me. Many times, give up and leave empty handed. Terrible customer service. Surprised any of your hot food and salads get sold. At least put a silver desk call bell out there for customers to use. It's not that difficult to give better customer service.

The service at this restaurant was very disappointing. When I attempted to use the self-checkout machines, they did not return my money. Additionally, the prices on the items were completely incorrect.

I was truly impressed by the setup and decorations at The Floral Shop today for Valentine's Day. It is obvious that someone there is very creative and has a lot of great ideas for Valentine's. I had a lovely conversation with Lory, who was incredibly sweet and helpful despite being very busy.

HyVee board members need to be drug tested as the current CEO has no clue on what he us doing and has made VERY EXPENSIVE mistakes including trying Market Grills and never checking the food (This is why they switched them to Walburgers) and opening Hyvee gas stations that have all the food items directly in front of the doors and some of the worst bakes good outside of Kazakhstan!
