Hampton Inn West Des Moines Lake Drive

We had to travel back home for my father's funeral, We stayed at the hampton in des moines iowa. The people there were friendly, Is the young lady that chuck descend was fabulous. The stay was very comfortable, The food was delicious. And the rooms were more than reasonable. I have and always will continue to stay with the hampton inn.Rooms: The rooms were comfortable clean and very efficient.Safety: It was very safe, My family and I felt very comfortable. No rowdy people or loud noises.

I didn't know Hampton Inn allowed so many dogs! We were in a room with a barking dog in the room beside us. I wonder now how well they clean the rooms after Fido has been sleeping in the bed! I can go to Motel 6 for the same experience and a lot less money.Rooms: The shower was very slippery

Would have loved to give this a five-star all the way. My biggest complaint was the pillows. (What's up with hotels and pillows) asked for extra pillows shortly after check in, was told they would see. Girl check a couple locations then dropped me. I went down asked how the pillow search was going, was told sorry but I was written down. The pillows in our room were flat and soft. Pillows are just as important for a good night sleep as bed and quiet. I hope someone reads this and changes the policy of hoarding pillows.

I just wanted to say that the staff here was very kind, so friendly and funny. They went out of their way to be nice and accommodating. My review is very specific to them. Nani, Terri and Heidi were amazing!!!

Great service, comfortable beds and great complementary breakfast. Lots of places to eat lunch and dinner. They have maps at the front desk of nearby restaurants.
