Cakes and Candies by Maryellen is my go to shop for special occasion cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. Her cakes are always super fluffy, moist, and delicious but also amazing works of art. You might initially be scared away by the price but they are not your ordinary sheet cake. Each cake is 6 to 8 inches tall and worth every penny. You are getting twice the cake you usually get at any other bakery. I promise you will not be let down. I just recently threw a baby shower and used Maryellen's for our cakes and cookies. Everybody ranted and raved about how amazing this cake was and how delicious. So head out for your next party planning venture, just one tip- don't forget your check book, cash or check only Friends.

Great bakery! When the power went and we had to cancel the first birthday party Maryellen called and said we could postpone the cake a week. Meanwhile when the power returned a few hrs later I called back and Maryellen graciously said she could make it in two hrs and have it ready. I was so happy and everyone raved about the cake!

Maryellen was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding cake tasting! She has a great personality and was so helpful! Would recommend her to anyone looking for a cake for ANY event!
