Ye Olde Tavern - West Brookfield

The drinks were phenomenal. The BEST espresso martini!!! The menu is delicious and unique. The fried pickles beni was scrumptious!! The pickles had the right amount of batter. The homefries were crisped to perfection. Drove 1.5 hours to try this place. 110% worth it!!!! Will DEFINITELY be back

Special Valentines limited menu, but very interesting choices. I got surf turf which was a sirloin with seared scallops, cooked to perfection. The parsnip purée was the perfect accompaniment and I finished every last bite. My husband got the prosciutto wrapped cod, which was a touch over cooked, but still very tasty. Completely stuffed, and would go back again!

The service was above and beyond I had a great time. The new drink menu is ?? I had a ton of laughs with the owner I cannot wait to go back to try the next round of specials. Really a wonderful place

Haven’t been to this place in a long time so wanted to give it a try for another local option for us. We went in at 3pm on a Saturday thinking we could miss the dinner rush. We stood at the door for almost 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Staff was passing by us the whole time and wouldn’t make eye contact. Not even to say, “we’ll be with you shortly.” There was one large party seated as well as a couple of other tables, but otherwise pretty empty. When someone did eventually come over we were told it would be a 20-30 minute wait. Pretty frustrating that they couldn’t have told us that when we first arrived. We ended up sitting in the bar. Our service was pretty good, but people from one of the tables in the restaurant had to keep coming up to the bar to order their drinks because their server wasn’t coming to their table. The food was just ok. Disappointed to say we probably won’t be back. The initial reception (or lack thereof) really put a bad taste in my mouth.

Meal was ok,until a drunk with an attitude came out of the kitchen area and stood in front of our table trying to start a confrontation. We believe this was over us using the gift card given to us by friends.we didn’t have any complaints over food or drinks,so we assume it was over us using the gift card. We have no idea who this guy was,either the owner or the cook. The waiter gave us an apology as we headed out the door,never to return again. Stay away!
