Ponderosa - West Branch

Food was good, they usually have the same food on the buffet, would be nice if they switched it more. We came here because it was my daughters 8th birthday and she loves this place. Our a sever younger mistress, very friendly and very busy young man. Despite a few big parties already on hand, he still did a great job. They came out and sang for my daughter. We had a good time overall.

It's like the old Pondersa I remember as a child. And the people working on this Ponderosa are working hard to be friendly. Great service and fast. The buffet was top notch, and the steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly to order. We wanted Steak and we got good.

This Ponderosa exceeded expectations and I was surprised how perfect my steak came out. Whoever worked in the kitchen was on the grill. Our waitress Sherry was really pleasant and very nice. The salad bar was handled by staff to help with social and health standards and were almost too generous with portion sizes. All in all, it was a really nice meal and I would definitely go back.

This place is wonderful, I've been to it many times now. The food used to be a bit lackluster, but ever since they got new management, it's seemed better. Especially if you get there early enough to have it fresh!
