Woolley's Kitchen - West Bloomington

Didn't expect such a good establishment in a hotel lobby! Loud during the Managers happy hour, but great to see the restaurant well traveled. Good food, (Brussels sprouts...meh), and good beer cocktail selection.

Alfredo very bland, came with piece of toast that tasted like it was soaked in margarine. Chicken quesadillas and salmon were good. Service was disjointed. Cake was standard sheet cake with fake whipped cream, fruit on it was good.

I would love to give a review of Woolley's kitchen and Bar where I thought I made the reservation. Nothing was stated on Woolley's website or open table that it was for a Mother's Day Brunch.our reservation was for 1:30 apparently they brunch ended at 2. For $55 dollars we got there here's what's left brunch.They sat us in the atrium at a table with a stained table cloth, right under the skylight with the sun beating down on us. I had to wear my sunglasses through the “meal”. The beef was dry, the chicken looked unappetizing but, someone in our party said it was ok. Omelette bar was the only fresh thing available. Fresh strawberries were not filled so the ones remaining were sitting in the water they washed them with. you could see all the dirt in the water) the danish looked as if the ran to Sam's Club and got what was available. Our server said she would get us our drinks when we got back from “filling our plates”, we only received water and were never offered the champagne on the menu. When it came time for dessert we made it just as they were clearing the dessert table even though several tables were still seated). The cake was ok. All in all for $55 we felt like we got leftovers and an omelette bar. It's unfortunate that we were told we could not eat in the actual restaurant because that menu looked quite good but, after this pathetic experience I won't set foot in there again. I wonder if the Embassy Suites and Woolley's will pay for the pizza we got an hour later because we were starving?
