This restaurant is a great choice for dining. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is well-trained, friendly, and attentive.

I recently visited a restaurant with my family for afternoon tea, using vouchers purchased through Groupon. We had made a special request to combine two vouchers and also requested a high chair, which was confirmed in the morning. However, when we arrived, we were met by Deon who was rude and argumentative. He insisted that we needed to pay for a 5th person, even though there wasn't one. Despite showing proof that we had cancelled the 5th person in January, he continued to argue. The waitress, who was pregnant and whose name we didn't catch, was lovely and helped make the experience better. Unfortunately, Deon never returned to apologize or acknowledge our proof. When we left, our vouchers weren't checked, and we were told it was sorted already. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant as it was not a relaxing experience.

We dined at this restaurant using the Meerkat Meal card, which offered a 2 for 1 deal. However, we found the portion sizes to be very small and the food to be nothing special. We were disappointed with our experience. The price of a table spoon of pate quenelle was £7.50, which seemed excessive for the reduced portion offered with the deal. The food was not impressive. The restaurant had a pleasant setting but lacked atmosphere as it was very empty. The staff, particularly the young waiter, seemed inexperienced and lacked proper guidance from the older bar man. The added service charge at the end was unwarranted. We were grateful to have tried this restaurant on a discounted offer rather than paying full price. It is better to discover a restaurant's shortcomings through an offer, but we felt that we may have been treated differently because of it. These offers may not be effective marketing tools if they do not showcase the restaurant in a positive light.

Lovely view over the lawn and countryside to the horizon. Calm and relaxing. Good value set menu with three choices each of starter, main and dessert. Good selection of drinks from the bar, including cocktails. Attentive service. No complaints!

Not all items on the menu were available unfortunately. Staff efficient and the atmosphere satisfactory although could be improved upon
