Bidra med feedbackI have been a regular patron of Spice, my local Indian restaurant, for many years. However, since it changed ownership, it has lost its original authentic charm. While the food is still excellent, the service feels very business-like and is lacking the warm, family-oriented atmosphere that I used to enjoy. I am uncertain if I will be returning in the future.
I had a terrible experience with the customer service at this restaurant tonight. I ordered food over the phone for delivery and one of the meals was completely wrong. When I called to have it re-delivered, I had to wait over 40 minutes and only the korma was resent. The rice and naan bread were freezing cold. The person on the phone was rude and only offered to replace half of the meal that was wrong. I ended up having to go to the restaurant to get the refund. This ruined my Valentine's Day meal and I will not be returning to this restaurant.
I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious, hot, and well presented. I have no complaints whatsoever. The staff is lovely, always smiling and friendly. I have dined in and also ordered takeout, and each experience has been fantastic.
Haven’t been before so thought we’d all try a new restarrror across the road from the pub. We all decided to have curry as we love spicy food. We had rice and curry with quite thick pancake bread which was very nice. The man gave us absolutely massive white crisps which we saw other people eating with chopped onion and mint yogurt before the food came. The girls had 5 pints of lager each and a leekyour after the meal. All in all the bill was very very reasonable. Very reasonable. Would go there again. We had a right laugh.
We visited spice on a Friday night, we hadn’t booked but managed to get a table, it had a great atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were very attentive. The food was delicious! We will be returning again soon!
