Panda Kitchen - West Babylon

The food at this restaurant is reasonably priced and excellent quality. It has a homemade taste, with no ingredients from mass suppliers. I will definitely be returning soon!

Sometimes, small Chinese restaurants in hidden locations can be the best. The wontons could use more meat filling, but there aren't many better options for Chinese takeout in this area. Unfortunately, Imperial Orchid has gone downhill since changing owners. Long River in West Islip isn't as great as people say it is. The buffet in North Babylon can be hit or miss, with food ranging from terrible to decent. Panda Kitchen in West Babylon is likely the best tasting option in the area. The girl at the counter can be friendly once you get to know her. I was impressed by the sesame shrimp, which were hand-battered and had a thick coating, making them tasty. The fried rice is brown, a rarity these days when most places serve yellow rice. The boneless spare ribs are also tasty. The restaurant is usually busy, indicating that many people order from it, which means the food is usually fresh.
