Mom told me right off the bat, these clams are super fresh. She knows this because when she shucked them they were LOADED with juice. Normally after shucking 8 doz top necks she fills 2 quart sized containers. She anticipates needing a 3rd these are so fresh and juicy. ON TOP OF THAT Jeff was a real doll and personally delivered our order since I was jumping through hoops trying to get there to pick them up. What a lifesaver and what a great resource for fresh fish! THANK YOU JEFF!

Whaaaat?! I haven't reviewed Jeff's?! Ok quick take. It's a shack. No really, it's a shack. A shack that's been around for quite a long time. They get in fresh fish seafood. You can get texts when the fish is coming in even reserve your bounty. Like my dad I did with the latest special Live Soft Shell Crabs. Easy to clean, but not for the squeamish. They are about to open up a food truck on the lot. I'll keep ya posted. 5-4-2017

I really wanted to like Jeff 's crab shack. It 's a little shack by the side of the road, looking homely and cheap, but I stopped there several times and asked for Bluefish but no bluefish! The guy was moving crabs from basket to basket and after a few minutes deigned to lift his head and answer me: Come back at 6 ! Also, I noticed that when I was stopped at the light in front of the store (I work in Wyandach) the place freekin stank! I mean really overpowering smell that permeated a closed-windowed air-conditioned car! That 's not a good sign. I think I 'll avoid The Shack. I really wanted to like it, but ooh!! that smell.
