Taqueria La Cihualteca - Wenatchee

I recently had the best Mexican food in a long time at this restaurant! The green salsa was so delicious that I wish I could buy a jar of it. Every salsa they served us was amazing. The tacos, birria, and sopasito were probably the best things I've eaten in the past 2 years. Coming from California, these dishes even surpassed those I've had there. The tacos were better than ones I've had at small, local joints in Cozumel. Thank you very much, friends, for the amazing food!

This restaurant used to be great, but the quality of the food has declined. Additionally, their hours of operation fluctuate and they often close earlier than advertised. I have stopped visiting this place due to their inconsistent business hours and reduced menu selections. It doesn't seem like this business will be sustainable in the long run.

Some restaurants put your entire life into perspective and make you question your reality. Hear me out:My friend recommended that I stopped by here since I was going to be in the area, and we just so happened to be ravenously hungry after a hike and decided to drop by. I really like the layout of the restaurant. It's very spacious and there's a lot of seating, service was very friendly and fast as well and the lady who took her order gave really good recommendations.My husband ordered a machete and I ordered a quesabirria, and let me tell you that the first bite I took made me so incredibly happy and so devastatingly sad at the exact same time. It was in that moment that I realized that I thought I'd have been eating really good Mexican food in Seattle, and compared to this, I hadn't. I realized that I would only get to taste this amazing food once or twice a year and so I tried my best to save her every bite and ended up making a second order because I just couldn't get enough of it.If you happen to be in the area, I am ordering you to go to this establishment and eat their food. You won't regret it.
