Bidra med feedbackReally lovely pub interior to die for. The ale however was quite mediocre. Gobsmacked they have only got three unisex toilet cubicles for a venue this size. What I don't remember is thus place being a pub before .
Great service quintessential bread and and olives great beer selection traditional portrait art with rockers excellent beef Wellington
I only need four words for this place; Peach and pistachio cheesecake Two of my favourite things smooshed together perfectly with a teeny perfect macaron for garnish... There is however a minimum word count, so inwill say that it's an adorably cosy little restaurant-come-pub. From my time in there I wouldn't have guessed but a music venue though, but it was post lockdown
Oh! This cute pub restaurant tucked down an inviting lane way, oozes with a grand Tudor look outside and as you make your way inside, it instantly feels like a cosy, great place to visit. There is plenty of seating in a welcoming lounge, even a snug area tucked away with a fireplace to kick back and unwind. There is a restaurant section; I didn't eat in the restaurant but did have a 3 course menu served up at a private wedding hosted in the top floor function room; food was beautifully cooked and well portioned, with everything coming out very timely. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The function room was full of character, original exposed beams and all very cute indeed. I really enjoyed my time here and look forward to socialising here again when I'm back in the area.
Very nice environment and a cozy, comfortable bar! Good service, good menu choices. We just had the fish chips and it was very good.
