Really enjoyed it. The food and rustic atmosphere is great.

This restaurant in Wellington is a hidden gem with a stunning atmosphere and excellent food. The presentation of the dishes is top-notch and the taste matches the quality. The staff and owner are very friendly. I highly recommend dining here.

What an absolute disappointment! we came on Friday evening in riebeek kasteel for a weekend away and after much debated and even a good reference from a native, we went to dinner at 20:30, only to be received with a very complaining greeting of suffering we were going again today, this time to lunch, again to be welcomed with an uninviting attitude. yes, the decor is beautiful, but that is it! cost-effective menu, very limited to South African farm animal darm, drinks expensive and very unfriendly staff! unnecessary to say within 10min, we gulped our drinks and took on a much better restaurant around the corner! not surprised that no one has eaten in the restaurant!

I went for lunch at this restaurant last week on Wednesday. Many items listed on the menu were not available and when I finally selected a dish, the wrong one was brought to me. The card machine wasn't working properly, so I ended up having to pay twice at the owner's request. When I realized the mistake, I asked for a refund, but my request was denied. I was told I would be refunded via EFT when the shops closed on Saturday, but that never happened. When I followed up on Monday, the owner's wife promised to send proof of payment, but I never received it. When I called to inquire, the owner's wife hung up on me. This was a disappointing experience and I will not be returning.
